Invitation expert workshop in Malta

The Women4IT project, a multi-stakeholder partnership funded by the EEA Grants and the Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment organizes on the 11th March 2020 a full day validation workshop.

The goal of the WOMEN4IT project is to develop the digital competences of young women who are at risk of exclusion from the labour market, by improving their employability.

We are looking for Greek experts in the fields of digital skills and youth employment to help us validate the WOMEN4IT project tools:

  • A digital jobs employability online profiling tool. It will help to identify the existing skills, competences, attitudes and experience of young women searching for digital jobs, versus those which are required for identified digital jobs that are in demand. The individual will perform an initial self-assessment using a wizard-like self-evaluation test. This will build a person profile. The tool will perform a gap analysis to check skills, competencies and experience gaps against a job profile of interest and/or the closet job profile to the individual’s skillset automatically chosen by the tool.

  • An online training roadmap. The roadmap will yield a planning methodology for training that will allow training to be flexible and adaptable to the requirements of the women trainees, based on a variety of approaches. The roadmap will be adaptable for use in all participant countries and replicable beyond.

  • The Digital Jobs Employment Toolkit will represent a practical resource for women going into IT jobs. The toolkit will be structured in two main sections: (1) The Employers Toolkit and (2) The Women’s Toolkit.
