Sustainable Agriculture, Forestry and small-scale Livestock production towards Climate Change

Adapting agriculture to climate change necessitates a deeper understanding of ecosystem processes at a landscape scale due to various interactions, synergies, and side-effects.

The SA2CC project arises in this context, aligned with the “Climate Action” SDG, which “aims to addressing the global and urgent challenge of climate change, notably by making sure that all countries of the world:

(a) strengthen their resilience and adaptation to climate change, with extra attention to the small island developing States (SIDS) and least developed countries (LDCs), as well as the communities most vulnerable to and affected by climate change

(b) mainstream climate change in global and national policies, strategies, and planning to ensure coherent, efficient, and quick actions and

(c) raise awareness and educate people about the climate challenge and actions to take”.
